Our Mission
"A Full Service Organization"
Our Mission is to develop and provide affordable quality housing for low and moderate income families and senior citizens. This housing is provided in conjunction with other support services as a means of assisting families and individuals to achieve stability and independance.

Our Vision
"Beyond Our Own Borders"
Our vision remains constant to use our Muskegon based developments as a model for other distressed neighborhood vitalization projects in Michigan and throughout the USA. To assist other organizations in the development of Non-profit agencies that address housing and related support services such as employment, child care, transportation, and many other resources that empower the family structure.

Trinity Village and Community Nonprofit Housing Corporation collaborates with the Church of God in Christ congregations and community organizations throughout the United States to develop high quality, affordable housing and rebated support services in targeted urban areas.

The Housing Corporation was formed in 1990 with a mission not only to provide quality housing but with a mandate from God of ministry.  With that in mind the corporation gathered together a group of dedicated professionals and after months of planning, consulting, and research, our first construction was on the way.  The first multifamily development was completed in 1993 and the first families moved in.  Since then we have developed approximately 2000 units of multi family and senior housing throughout Michigan and Indiana.

Family Housing:  The Crossing of Buena Vista, Saginaw, MI

Newly Renovated:   Amazon Building, Muskegon, MI

In its multi family housing, TVNHC is involved with a total of 16 housing developments.  Six of these developments have been built independently by TVNHC and nine are joint ventures with for-profit developers.  From birth, TVNHC has been involved in the management of its own projects.  We work in collaboration with professional management companies to manage our properties and provide monitoring of financial reports which our funding sources require.

"It is a real joy to see the mission of our ministry fulfilled in this housing.  People are able to live in nice homes, many for the first time in thei lives, at rent they can afford.  Families are more stable, children do better in school, and the families often are able to become more economically secure through more stable jobs.  Quality, affordable housing is the key to beginning a better life."

Trinity has been increasingly involved in assisting other churches across the United States begin housing developments in their areas.  We provide technical assistance and guidance as they develop their first projects.  The development of affordable housing is a complicated process, requiring financing skills, construction monitoring, and understanding of the legal issues involved.  TVNHC has developed a training curriculum and model which we can share with other faith-based organizations to assist in learning the need skills for successful housing development.
