Sunday School / Christian Education

The mission of the Sunday School/Christian Education is based upon scriptural references found in Deuteronomy 31:12-13.  It reads as such, “Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully observe all the words of this law, and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land which you crossed the Jordan to possess” (NKJV). The function of this ministry falls to seek and save the lost (Matthew 28:19-20), to nurture the believer resulting in strong followers of Christ and to guide/equip the members of this body. The word nurture suggests promoting development which may take place in the form of teaching, training and influencing.

To accomplish this purpose, the Christian Education Ministry (CEM) will offer classes consisting of bible based lessons and discussion every Sunday morning. Classes will be formed to focus on every age group Lower Elementary K-2, Upper Elementary 3-5, Middle School 6-8, High School 9-12, Adult Men, and Adult Women represented in Holy Trinity. The Christian Education Ministries consist of Sunday School, YPWW, Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and New Members Class.
